If you are planning on hosting an event on campus and need technology support, please make sure to contact the IT Team at least three days before your scheduled event. Get in touch with the IT Team by dialing x1600 from any of the classroom phones, emailing Support@williamjames.edu, or visiting the IT Office on the ground floor.
This includes needing to use any of the classroom AV (Desktop Computer, Laptop, Room Cameras and Microphones). A member of the IT Team is happy to meet with you and review what your tech requirements would require, and show you the best practices to getting everything set up on the day of your event.
Any event requests made without a prior consultation with the IT Team may result in limited support, AV setup delays, and disruption to the scheduled event start time.
You will also need to contact the Facilities Department regarding any specific room set up for the event at least one week in advance of your event. The Facilities Team will not do any kind of last minute setups for events on campus. Contact the Facilities Team at 617-327-6777 x1111.
If you need additional AV assistance on the day of your event, please contact the IT Team by dialing x1600 from the classroom phones.
If you need assistance after 5:00pm, please visit the Library desk, and one of the the trained workstudy students will be happy to assist you.
