Welcome to William James College
Your IT Welcome Packet was sent to the email address you provided on your application. It contains your William James College username and temporary password, which you will use to access your account for the first time. Once you login with your temporary password, you will create a new password to use to access campus technology resources.
If you have submitted your enrollment deposit but have not received your IT Welcome Packet, please contact the IT Team at Support@williamjames.edu.

Getting Started
1. Sign In
Visit https://wjc.onelogin.com (Our Single Sign-On portal often referred to as OneLogin).
Sign in using:
- Email Address: Found in your IT Welcome Packet.
- Password: Your temporary password from the Welcome Packet.
You will then be asked to create a new password. Be sure to create a strong password and store it in a safe place.
This password will be used to access your William James College email, OneLogin portal, and many other school resources throughout your time at the College.
2. Enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all William James College accounts. You must complete MFA enrollment before you can access your email and other college systems.

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of verification when you sign in. This helps protect your personal information and William James College resources from unauthorized access.
3. Install the OneLogin Browser Extension
Installing the OneLogin browser extension provides the easiest way to access college applications.
- Select Add OneLogin Extension.
- If you are using Google Chrome, you will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.
- If you use another browser or need additional instructions, please refer to Using OneLogin.
4. Access Your William James College Email
William James College uses Microsoft Outlook for email.
To access your email:
- Visit login.williamjames.edu.
- Select Category.
- Choose Everything from the dropdown menu.
- Select the Outlook tile.
We recommend checking your email regularly, as it is the primary method of communication from the College.
Log in to CampusNexus
CampusNexus is William James College's student information system where you can:
- Register for classes
- View billing information
- Update your personal information
- Access academic records
To access CampusNexus:
- Sign in to login.williamjames.edu.
- Select Category > Everything.
- Open the Student Information Portal tile.
Verify Your Information
After logging in:
- Select My Profile.
- Choose My Information.
- Verify your contact information is accurate.
- Under the SMS section:
- Confirm your mobile phone number.
- Check Enable SMS Messaging so you receive important campus notifications, including emergency alerts and weather-related closings.

6. Get Your Student ID Card
During Orientation, there will be a scheduled time to have your photo taken and receive your Student ID.
If you cannot attend during Orientation, please contact Support@williamjames.edu to schedule an alternate appointment.

Free Software Available for Download
The school provides the following software for free to students.

Going forward, you can access all of these systems through the William James College OneLogin portal. We recommend bookmarking login.williamjames.edu for quick and easy access.

Canvas
Canvas is William James College's online learning platform where you can:
- Access course materials
- Submit assignments
- Participate in discussions
- View grades
- Communicate with instructors
Canvas can be accessed through any modern web browser, and many features are also available through the Canvas Student mobile app.
Please note:
- Students will not have access to Canvas until they are officially enrolled in at least one course.
- Most students receive Canvas access a few days before the semester begins.
- Courses will appear on or before the first day of class.
- You will also have access to a Technology Orientation course that introduces William James College systems and resources.
If your semester is about to begin and your courses do not appear in Canvas, please contact your Program Advisor or Department Chair.
