Receive your IT Welcome Packet
Your IT Welcome Packet was sent to the email address you submitted on your application. Your IT Welcome Packet contains your Username and Temporary Password for accessing school computers and technology resources.
If you have not received your IT Welcome Packet after submitting your enrollment deposit, please contact Support@williamjames.edu
Please review the minimum computer requirements before purchasing a new laptop
1. Login
Login at Login.williamjames.edu (our single sign on page, called OneLogin)
Enter your:
Email Address: Located in welcome email
Password: Temporary password in welcome email
2. Enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication
To learn how to enroll into the Multi-Factor Authentication for William James College, click here.
3. Install the OneLogin Extension
Click the Add OneLogin Extension button, the download will start. If you are using Chrome, you will be taken to the Chrome Web Store.

We strongly recommend using Multi-Factor Authentication to protect your account as well as your colleagues from potential attacks.

4. Log into Email
Outlook is the email system we use. To log into Outlook:
- Go to login.williamjames.edu.
- Click on Category: _______.
- In the dropdown menu that appears, click on Everything.
4. Scroll down and click on the Outlook tile.

5. Log into CampusNexus and verify your information.
CampusNexus is WJC's student and faculty information portal. It allows you to view/register for classes, billing information, and other course information.
Log into your Student Information Portal by clicking the tile shown below. To find this tile, follow the same steps from above.
Verify your personal information is correct by clicking on "My Profile," then "My Information".
Make sure to update the SMS section, so you receive alerts from the school (announcements, closing, etc). Verify your phone is correct. Then, check the "Yes" box next to "Enable SMS Messaging?".

6. Get Your School ID
During Orientation, there will be scheduled time for you to get your picture taken for your School ID.
If you are unable to attend at the scheduled time, please email Support to set up an alternate time.

The school provides the following software for free to students.

Canvas
Canvas an online learning system that helps WJC students, teachers, and staff manage classes, share materials, submit assignments, and communicate easily.
All Canvas features are available through your computer’s web browser, and many features are available through the Canvas Student App, which can be downloaded through your App store.
Students will not have access to Canvas until they are officially enrolled in at least one course. New students can usually log into Canvas a few days before the first day of class. Once on Canvas, your upcoming semester courses will be visible to you on or before the first day of class. You will also have access to a an Orientation course which will guide you through our various technology resources, and more. If the semester start date is near and you do not see your courses listed in Canvas, please contact your program advisor or department head.
