Mac Error - Missing Software – WJC Information Technology and Services Office

If you install Papercut Hive on your Mac and you get an erorr that looks like this:

You will need to install the printer files to resolve this error.

Note: You will be able to print on both sides, but other finishing options (stapling, etc.) are not available at this time.

Then on your Mac:

Go to your downloads folder. Double click on the Kyocera Driver.dmg.
Double click on the icon 0S X 10.0 or higher. Then double click on the icon OS X 10.9+ build 2024.09.20.pkg
Use the install wizard with all default settings.
Restart the computer.
Click on the Apple icon and goto system settings.
Look at the last option – Select PDL
In the window on the right, click on the dropdown menu next to Page Description Languages and change it to PCL.
Click on Apply.
