If you have previously used PaperCut and you still have the PaperCut MF app installed, please uninstall it first.
- Visit https://hive.papercut.com on a web browser.
- Enter your full William James email when prompted – for example: iam_test@williamjames.edu
3. Click on Continue with Single Sign-On (SSO) button.
4. On the left panel, click Set up my devices.
5. Click on the green Download button. The website will check what kind of computer you’re using and show the right download option (for example, “Download for Mac” when accessed on a Mac).
6. Your file will be downloaded.
7. Open your downloads folder and run the file.
If you have a WJC‑issued laptop, you will need a special administrator login and password to complete the download (image below of what you will see). Entering your WJC login credentials will not work for this step.
To have the password entered, please contact IT Support by emailing Support@williamjames.edu, calling 617‑327‑6777 ext. 1600, or visiting the IT Office on the ground floor.
8. Once the installation is complete, open up your computer's printer settings.
You should see either Papercut Printer or WJC Follow Me Printer. This is the new printer you will use to print.
