If you prefer recording on Zoom instead of in YuJa, you can use your William James College Zoom account to record directly into YuJa.
Don't have a WJC Zoom account yet? Learn how to create your account here.
Here's how you can do it:
1. Make sure that you have already logged into YuJa through OneLogin at least once, as this step automatically creates your YuJa account. Learn how to do so here.
2. Start your Zoom meeting.
3. Click on Record to begin recording your session.
4. Click Record to the cloud.
Once your meeting is over, the recording will automatically be copied from Zoom to YuJa.
It is important that your video is imported into YuJa because Zoom deletes cloud recordings after 20 days. If a recording is deleted, the WJC Support Team may be able to recover it for up to 30 days after it enters the Zoom trash, but recovery is not guaranteed.
You will receive an email from Zoom when your cloud recording is ready, followed by an email from YuJa once the video has been successfully imported into your account. Recordings can sometimes take up to 24 hours to arrive in YuJa, especially if they are particularly long or uploaded during high-traffic times.
Important note: Captions from Zoom do not carry over to YuJa, so you must add or request captions directly in YuJa.
Please be aware: William James College was using VidGrid for video hosting until January 2024. You might still encounter some VidGrid videos. If you need assistance with VidGrid, please contact Support.
If you have any questions, please contact the WJC Support Team by either emailing Support@williamjames.edu, calling 617-327-6777 ext. 1600, or visiting the IT Office on the ground floor.
