Introduction to Ares - For Students

Ares

Ares is the name of the system where your course readings are located. Before the start of the semester, your instructor may upload assigned course readings to Ares. To access course readings, you must do so through the Ares link in the Canvas left-hand menu of your course page. It will automatically log you into Ares that way.

Below are two short videos that will show you how to navigate Ares and some optional features.

Having trouble with Ares?

If you are trying to access an Ares course reading in Canvas but are receiving an "incorrect password" message, then you can try to delete the stored passwords in your browser or use a different browser to log in. Although the library resources use the same password as OneLogin, it is a different website, so your browser won’t automatically update a new or incorrectly typed password. Click here for those instructions. You can use this as a test site to log into once you’ve deleted the stored passwords: https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/mspp/detail.action?docID=661538
