Installing browser extensions for OneLogin

Overview

The OneLogin browser extension makes accessing William James College applications faster and more convenient.

With the extension installed, you can:

  • Access all of your Single Sign-On (SSO) applications directly from the browser extension without keeping the OneLogin portal open.
  • Use the extension as a bookmark for your school applications. Simply click the OneLogin icon in your browser's toolbar (see below for instructions on pinning it to your toolbar), select the application you want to open, and you'll be signed in automatically.

Steps for Installing the Browser Extensions

To ensure the OneLogin portal and SSO features work correctly, install the OneLogin browser extension for the web browser you use (such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox). You should recieve a prompt to install the OneLogin browser extension after your first sign in attempt. If you don't, there are two ways to install the OneLogin browser extension

Option 1: Install from One Login App

  1. Open your preferred web browser.
  2. Sign in to wjc.onelogin.com
  3. Click the Office 365 tile.
  4. If the OneLogin browser extension is not installed, you'll be prompted to install it. Click Download the Extension.
  5. You'll be redirected to the OneLogin download page. Select the extension for your browser and complete the installation.

Option 2: Install from Your OneLogin Profile

  1. Sign in to wjc.onelogin.com
  2. Hover over your name in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Profile.
  4. Under Browser Extensions, click Install for the browser you are currently using. OneLogin will automatically detect your current browser and display the appropriate extension.
  5. To install the extension for a different browser, click Show Other Browsers and select the browser you want.
