Below are some of the most common issues faculty and staff may encounter when connecting to classroom technology.
If you experience a problem that is not listed below, please use the classroom phone to dial x1600 to contact the Help Desk for assistance.
Steps
The Projector is displaying a black screen
- Change to the input to one of the other option using the touch panel on the desk and flip back to your preferred option
- Power down the system using the touch panel on the desk and restart from scratch
The TV is is displaying a black screen
- Check to make sure the TV is on (power button is located on the bottom of the screen in the middle)
- Change to the input to one of the other option using the touch panel on the desk and flip back to your preferred option
- Power down the system using the touch panel on the desk and restart from scratch
How to use the TV as a second monitor
- Once the TV is powered on you can click and drag any windows (PowerPoint or zoom) and drag them to to show on the back screen
Another user is logged in already
1) If another user is logged in, Right click on the start menu (4 squares in the bottom left)
2) Choose sign out
3) Log in with your WJC username and password
