2021 Alumni Policy
- William James College will no longer be providing Alumni email addresses for students graduating after 6/30/21
- Alumni can still log into the email account the same way by using their WJC Account username.
- All 2021 alumni of William James College will keep their email addresses and access to resources for one year from their graduation.
2022 Alumni Policy
- Alumni can still log into the email account the same way by using their WJC Account username.
- Per license requirements, your WJC account access to Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite (including OneDrive and Teams), and Microsoft Office Suite installation licenses, will expire 6 months after graduation.
- Alumni will continue to have full access to their email account and full email functions for one year, expiring 12 months after your date of commencement.
- Alumni will continue to have full access to their email account and full email functions for one year, expiring 12 months after your date of commencement.
- Alumni will have a reduced capacity and license access to the following resources and will automatically expire after 12 months from the commencement date.
- Library Resource Privileges
- Anti-Virus and other free software offered by the College.
- Other Online Services such as Ares and Canvas.
- After 12 Months, alumni can continue to access various library resources and software via the WJC Library Computer Lab. A temporary login account can be obtained via the Library Circulation Desk.
- If an alumnus chooses to return as a student and has an existing WJC alumni email account, WJC will automatically convert the current alumni account back to a student account, while still maintaining the alum.williamjames.edu email address as an alias email address.
- By using WJC Alumni Email Account, the user agrees to abide by the general email usage policy.
- If a user requires any information, it can be found on the IT Helpdesk Support Website http://support.williamjames.edu. Users can also submit a ticket to WJC IT Helpdesk for additional assistance.
- WJC IT Office reserves the right to disable/remove any accounts at any time of user has violated Alumni Email Usage Policy.
- Alumni will have to contact the helpdesk to reset forgotten passwords. Currently, there is no password self-service provided to alumni.
